Director of Facilities Appointment

SCL are delighted to have appointed Stu Stangroom to the Director of Facilities position. Stu brings a wealth of experience and strong leadership skills to the role.

The Facilities Services function incorporates the full range of Soft FM Services, many which are recognised as award winning services. The scope of the Facilities Management Service has been extended to include Decontamination of Surgical Instruments (Sterile Services Department), Decontamination of Endoscopes and the Central Equipment Loans Library (CELL).  

Decontamination of Endoscopes are provided from our recently commissioned state of the art facilities on the Darlington Memorial Hospital (DMH) site, whilst Sterile Services are provided from our centralised unit on the University Hospital North Durham (UHND) site. The CELL service is provided from recently commissioned units on both the DMH and UHND sites.
